I am back on with the paddlefish research. It's pretty exciting. The other day I prepared the solutions I need and now I'm just waiting for the samples to arrive to run the tests. Today for work I had to apply to be able to drive Univesity vehicles. I have to pick up a guy from his hotel and take him to the seminar on the 27th for the Faith Forum. It might not be me, but it'll be good to have the ability in the future as well.
I'm going crazy waiting for my Candy Carnival. I check the mail room every day and sigh when I don't see the little green piece of paper through the window of my UC box. Paisley is waiting a little more patiently than me. Here she is saving a spot for her new friend so they can play Monopoly together.
What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?
I would really really like to extract DNA from and run a PCR on both paddlefish and sturgeon. Yes, that would be super. I've had quite a bit of trouble with this simple concept since the beginning of this year. So actually getting it done would be wonderful.
